PTU - Pretty In Emo

This tutorial was made using PSPX2, but can be adapted

To do this tutorial you must have working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro

This tutorial was written by DesignsbyRená on June 27th, 2012

Any resemblance is purely coincidental. Enjoy!

I am using the wonderful work of VeryMany, which I purchased here! www.picsfordesign.com

Items you need:

Template by Missy (278) which can be found here!

PTU Scrapkit “Emo Girl” by AmyMarie, which you can purchase here!

Plugins Needed

Delete the credits layer & Raster 1

Select “square1” layer

Float/defloat

Open paper “pp2” from your kit

Copy & paste as a new layer

Resize by 50%

Adjust>sharpen

Invert your selection>delete the excess

Do the same for layer “Square2”

Then select “frame1” layer

Add noise at 50%

Add your favorite gradient glow

Do the same to the “frame2” layer

Now select the “circle” layer

Open element “heartspiked” element

Copy & paste as a new layer

Resize to your liking, and place in the square on the left

Image>duplicate>mirror

Merge these two element layers

Now reselect your “circle” layer

Invert>delete the excess

Change the layer to Luminance(L)

Opacity set to 36

Merge these two layers

Now add your tube!

After float/defloat on my circle layer, I went back to my tube layer

Then I inverted the selection

And then erased the bottom portion of the tube

You may need to slightly reposition the tube to make it appear that it is within the circle

Now open element “emokitty”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Resize by 50%

Adjust>sharpen

Place on the left, where u prefer

Image>duplicate>mirror

Merge these two together and then add a drop shadow of choice

Next open “shoe1”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Resize to your liking

Position on the left & duplicate

Mirror

Merge these 2 layers and then add your drop shadow

Add your name

I used the font AcornSwashAltern

Foreground black & background #f883cc

Leaving your font selected

(or if not selected, float/defloat)

Open element “sparkles21”

Place inside your text

Invert>delete the excess

Merge these two layers together

Add your favorite gradient glow

For my font, I used AcornSwashAltern at size 48 (may need changed according to name size)

Don’t forget to crop your tag
