PTU - Punk

This tutorial was made using PSPX2, but can be adapted

To do this tutorial you must have working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro

Items you need:

Scrapkit “Punk Kitty Rocks” by AmyMarie, which you can purchase here!


Template by Rosey (100) which can be found here!



Font is: A&S Blaze (pay font)



Plugins Needed

Eye Candy 4000



Image>canvas size> 800x800 (we can crop layer)

Delete the credits layer, the background layer & all of the word art layers

Now select the “Purple Oval” layer

Float/defloat

Open paper “pp015”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Invert>delete the excess

Add your favorite gradient glow

Now select the ‘pink circle” layer

Float/defloat

Open paper “pp9”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Invert>delete the excess

Deselect

Add your favorite gradient glow

Next. Select the “Blue Rectangle” layer

Float/defloat

Open paper “pp013”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Invert>delete the excess

Add your gradient glow

Select the “Pink Rectangle” layer

Float/defloat

Open paper “pp7”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Add noise 50%

Add your gradient glow

Now select the “Black Rectangle” layer

Float/defloat

Open paper “pp015” again

Copy & paste as a new layer

Invert>delete the excess

Add your gradient glow

Select the “White Circle” layer

Float/defloat

Open paper “pp012”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Invert>delete the excess

Add your gradient glow

Select the “Purple Rectangle” layer

Float/defloat

Open paper “pp4”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Invert>delete the excess

Add your favorite gradient glow

Now using paper “pp015”

Select the “Big Star” layer

Float/defloat

Copy & paste as a new layer

Invert>delete the excess

Add your gradient glow

Follow these same steps for the “little star” layer

Now open element “clawedheart”

Resize by 50%

Adjust>sharpen

Place to the left of your rectangle (look to my tag for an example)

Image>duplicate>mirror

Merge these two layers together

Next, open “wingedskull”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Place at the top of your tag (again look to my tag as an example”

Add your favorite gradient glow

Add your tube :o)

Open element “Emokitty2”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Resize to your liking

Adjust>sharpen

Place to the left of your text



Font is A&S Blaze at size 72

Add a black/white gradient glow to your name as well as a drop shadow

Foreground #f37e9c, background set to paper “pp6”

Don’t forget to crop your tag

PTU - Glittered Goth

I am using the wonderful work of VeryMany, which you can find here!
For the scrapkit, I am using “Awesome Sauce” by Alika’s Designs
Which can be found at here!
Last but not least you need your template 50, by Rosa which can be found here!
For this tut, you will need to have the following plugins
Eye Candy 4000

Font is A&S black Swan (pay font)

Now on to the tut!
Open your template
Delete the credits layer, the background layer, & wordart layer
Go to Canvas size and resize it to 800x800 (don’t worry, we will resize later)
Select the “LrgCircle” layer
Float/defloat
Open paper “as_paper06”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Add your favorite gradient glow
Select your “PinkSquare” layer
Float/defloat
Open paper “as_paper03”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Add your favorite gradient glow
Now right above layer “DiamondLine” add a new layer
Open element “as62”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Merge down
Move the sparkles where you like them :o)
Now open element “as01”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Place to the left center
Image>duplicate>mirror
Now select the “PinkDots” layer
Floodfill with a color from your tube (I used #561b55)
Now select the “PurpleSquare” layer
Floodfill with the same color from above
Now select the “PinkGlitter” later
Floodfill with the same color
Adjust>add noise 50%
Deselect
Next, select the “PinkCircle” layer
Floodfill with black (#000000)
Now add your tubes
For the left side tube (preferable a close-up)
Copy & paste as a new layer
Select the “PurpleSquare”
Float/defloat
Invert selection
Go back to your close-up layer
Delete the bottom portion of your close-up
Deselect
Position to your liking
For the tube on the right:
Follow the same steps, except use your version of the “LrgCircle” layer
Lastly open element “as06”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Resize to your liking
Place inside the black circle
Add your name
I used the font AcornSwashAltern
Foreground black & background #f883cc
Leaving your font selected
(or if not selected, float/defloat)
Open element “sparkles21”
Place inside your text
Invert>delete the excess
Merge these two layers together
Add your favorite gradient glow

For my font, I used A&S black Swan at size 100 (may need changed according to name size)

Don’t forget to crop your tag

PTU - Pretty In Emo

Items you need:

Template by Missy (278) which can be found here!

PTU Scrapkit “Emo Girl” by AmyMarie, which you can purchase here!



Plugins Needed

Eye Candy 4000




Image>canvas size> 800x800 (we can crop layer)

Delete the credits layer & Raster 1

Select “square1” layer

Float/defloat

Open paper “pp2” from your kit

Copy & paste as a new layer

Resize by 50%

Adjust>sharpen

Invert your selection>delete the excess

Do the same for layer “Square2”

Then select “frame1” layer

Flood fill with a color of your choice (I used #f883cc)

Add noise at 50%

Deselect

Add your favorite gradient glow

Do the same to the “frame2” layer

Now select the “circle” layer

Open element “heartspiked” element

Copy & paste as a new layer

Resize to your liking, and place in the square on the left

Image>duplicate>mirror

Merge these two element layers

Now reselect your “circle” layer

Float/defloat

Open paper “pp010” from your kit

Copy & paste as a new layer

Invert>delete the excess

Change the layer to Luminance(L)

Opacity set to 36

Now select your “frame3” layer

Float/defloat

Floodfill with the same color as above

Add noise at 50%

Deselect & add your favorite gradient glow

Now select the “thin rectangle2” layer

Float/defloat

Floodfill with same color

Add noise at 50%

Add your gradient glow

Do the same with the “thin rectangle3” layer

Now select the “words” layer

Float/defloat

Floodfill

Deselect

Now open “wingedheart” element

Copy & paste as a new layer

Add your favorite gradient glow again

Now open the “sparkles24” element

Copy & paste as a new layer

Place to the left

Image>duplicate

Image>mirror

Merge these two layers

Now add your tube!

After float/defloat on my circle layer, I went back to my tube layer

Then I inverted the selection

And then erased the bottom portion of the tube

You may need to slightly reposition the tube to make it appear that it is within the circle

Now open element “emokitty”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Resize by 50%

Adjust>sharpen

Place on the left, where u prefer

Image>duplicate>mirror

Merge these two together and then add a drop shadow of choice

Next open “shoe1”

Copy & paste as a new layer

Resize to your liking

Position on the left & duplicate

Mirror

Merge these 2 layers and then add your drop shadow

Add your name

I used the font AcornSwashAltern

Foreground black & background #f883cc

Leaving your font selected

(or if not selected, float/defloat)

Open element “sparkles21”

Place inside your text

Invert>delete the excess

Merge these two layers together

Add your favorite gradient glow



For my font, I used AcornSwashAltern at size 48 (may need changed according to name size)



Don’t forget to crop your tag

Plugins Needed
Eye Candy 4000

Image>canvas size> 800x800 (we can crop layer)
Delete the credits layer & white background layer
Select the “top right pink rectangle” layer
Float/defloat
Open paper “pp1”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Deselect
Add your favorite gradient glow using the colors from the kit
Follow the above for the “bottom left black rectangle” layer
Now select the “pink rectangle stripes” layer
Float/defloat
Open paper “pp3”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Deselect
Add your gradient glow
Now, create a new layer above your “black rectangle layer”
Open element “glittersplatter1”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Move to the left of your tag
Image>duplicate
Image>mirror
Now reselect the “black rectangles” layer
Float/defloat
Open paper “pp4”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Add your gradient glow
Now select the “blue rectangle” layer
Float/defloat
Open paper “pp2”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Deselect
Add your gradient glow
Next, select the “frame backs” layer
Open paper “PP012”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Select the “white frames” layer
Float/defloat
Open paper “pp011”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Invert again, add noise 50%
Deselect
Add your gradient glow
Now in between the “white frames” layer & your version of the layer
Open your close-ups
Copy & paste as a new layer
Position to your liking in the right frame (resize & sharpen if needed)
Now add your close-up again
Image>mirror
Resize if needed, don’t forget to image>sharpen if needed
Add this to your smaller left frame
Merge these tube layers together
Select the “stripes” layer
Float/defloat
Open paper “pp011”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Deselect
Now, select the “feel the heat” layer & add your favorite drop shadow
Select the “wordart” layer, add your favorite gradient glow
Open element “12”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Resize by 50%
Adjust>sharpen
Place in the top right frame
Add your favorite gradient glow
Image>duplicate
Resize again by 50%
Adjust>sharpen
Place in the bottom of your left frame
Look to my tag as an example
Merge these layers together
Now, open element “icecream1”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Resize to your liking
Adjust>sharpen
Place to the left
Image>duplicate
Image>mirror
Merge these two layers
Add your favorite drop shadow
Now open element “bow1”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Resize to your liking
Position in the box (which contains Sizzlin) on the left
Image>duplicate
Image>mirror
Adjust>sharpen
Merge these two layers together, and then add your favorite drop shadow
Add your main tube

I used AbagailJackson as my font size 48
Adjust font size to the size of the name
Foreground set to null & background set to #ab5ff5
Add your favorite gradient glow
Add your favorite drop shadow
Position to your liking
Don’t forget to crop your tag
