PTU - Emo Princess


Emo Princess
This tutorial was made using PSPX2, but can be adapted
To do this tutorial you must have working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro
This tutorial was written by DesignsbyRená on June 20th, 2012

I am using the wonderful work of VeryMany, which I purchased it from www.picsfordesign.com
Items you need:
Scrapkit “Awesome Sauce” by Alika’s Scraps, which you can purchase here!

Template by Rosey & Minxy 01 which can be found here!

You will need a 1 tube & closeup (if possible) for this tag

Plugins Needed
Eye Candy 4000
Font is A&S Porkchop Primitive (pay font, can’t share, sorry)

Image>canvas size> 800x800 (we can crop layer)
Delete the credits layer & white background layer
Also, delete the “wordart” layer (Rac aholic)
Select layer “rectangle10”
Float/defloat
Open paper “as_paper06”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Deselect & add your favorite gradient glow
Do the same procedure for the “rectangle11” layer
Now select layer “dotted line2”
Float/defloat
Floodfill with a color of choice or use a paper
Do the same for layer “dotted line3”
Now select the “stars” layer
Float/defloat
Open paper “as_paper05” from your kit
Copy & paste as a new layer
Add your favorite gradient glow
Follow the same steps with the “copy of stars” layer
Select layer “circle1”
Float/defloat
Open paper “as_paper 8”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Deselect & add your favorite gradient glow
Do the same with layer “circle2”
Now select layer “rectangle1”
Float/defloat
Open paper “as_paper01”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>place a close-up of your tube
Position to your liking
Invert>delete the excess
Set this layer to 37 opacity
Deselect
Add your favorite gradient glow to layer your copy of “rectangle 1”
Do the same process for “rectangle2”
Now select the “square” layer
Float/defloat
Open paper “as_paper06”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Now open element “as50”
Opy & paste as a new layer
Resize to your liking
Place in the top left of your tag (look to my tag for an example)
Image>duplicate
Image>flip
Merge both of these layers
Now select layer “rectangle3”
Float/defloat
Open paper “as_paper03”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Add your favorite gradient glow
Follow the same steps for the “rectangle4” layer
Now select layer “rectangle5”
Float/defloat
Flood fill with a gradient
I used #af4e9f as my foreground & #1d97a2 as my background
Adjust>add noise 50%
Add your favorite gradient glow
Follow the same steps with layer “rectangle6”
Now select layer “rectangle7”
Float/defloat
Open paper “as_paper05”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Deselect & add your favorite gradient glow
Follow the same instructions for layer “rectangle8”
Next, select the “rectangle9” layer
Float/defloat
Open paper “as_paper01”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Invert>delete the excess
Add your favorite gradient glow
Now open element “as27”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Resize to your liking (don’t forget to adjust>sharpen)
Paste your main tube
Add your favorite drop shadow
Open element “as06”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Resize to your liking (adjust>sharpen)
Place in the bottom left of your tag
Now open element “as07”
Copy & paste as a new layer
Resize to your liking
Add your favorite drop shadow
Place where desired
Add your name

For my font, I used A&S Porkchop Primitive at size 72, this is a pay font, so unfortunately, I cannot share :o(
For my foreground, I used null, and for my back ground I used paper “as_paper06”
Crop your tag
